EMBRACING DIVERSITY IN THE WORKPLACE: IT IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS BY OLA JOSEPH
This lecture/workshop focuses on the importance of appreciating your own abilities while
embracing the uniqueness of people around you.
Having respect for one another. Learn how to reach out and make a difference,
recognizing that each person is a gift package with unique abilities. Remember:
Diversity is not about how we differ. It is about embracing one another's uniqueness.
LESSON OBJECTIVE
At the end of my session, participants will know:
- Why Diversity is important to you and your organization
- The cost of failing to deal with diversity
- The characteristics that make stereotypes harmful and dangerous
- Communicating across cultures
- The role COURAGE (Commitment, Opportunity, Understanding, Relationship, Acceptance, Goodness & Empathy) plays in Diversity
